ghost life from behind a door spiralled shut and beyond reach (a boy in a hole)
weekend-wanderers stop for vit supps as sun pops to clunk of scaffold drops
the luminous sift boogie shells as grifters drift over land and air
loaded on rum we fill land fill with 50 tonnes of fun

‘roll up’, st michael’s hill, bristol 2
guess it depends on your mojo, but if i could personally thank the person who paid the premium on the new clothing (and wore it in) for me, i would. people have different perspectives on large charities. on the one hand they seem to be doing a lot of worthwhile and necessary work. on the other, they are essentially a business, with huge hq’s in the city and more than healthy salaries for those on the top floors. this st peter’s hospice is right in the heart of bristol university country. it was the yellow dress that initially caught my eye. i’d never get into it, though

libraries are a service for everyone
“the st pauls learning & family centre is part of bristol libraries run and managed by bristol city council. the council supports the programme of activities and services run from the building and works with learning partners to deliver courses and adult learning. this st. pauls conversation is about finding out what customers, staff and the community think is working well, could be improved and how the future might develop.” ~ kate murray
the st pauls conversation: “we are using design and co-creation to bridge the gap between budget cuts in public services and the people who use them.”
i was taking photos at last weekend’s event, alongside the ideas monster
here is the website for our local library containing two photos i took at last years st paul’s carnival
